Day 2… OMGoodness is it really only Day 2?

Things went so well the first night and I actually got a few hours of sleep, not all consecutive, but sleep none-the-less. So of course last night I was up all night until 5:30 a.m. or so and got up before 7 a.m.. I am exhausted and won’t be getting a good nights sleep for another week, most likely! Puppies were happy and quiet, it was Momma Peony that was fussy and having a restless night, panting, and wouldn’t go to sleep. I finally get her panting less and sleeping and then I couldn’t go to sleep. I am not much of one for napping so today I am doing the best that I can, albeit a bit slow… but still going.

Peony is doing well today, temp normal for a bitch that has had surgery and pups… and so far so good. Whew! Pups are all gaining. And more nose trim is filling in. still need more on #2 Girl, but she may be black. Too soon to tell.
