The trip to being ready… can be a long one

Driving back and forth, back and forth... Repro vet is 45 minutes each way... <SIGH>.

Update: Peony's progesterone was 26.68 on Thursday, August 10. Finally getting there. She was 36.7 on Friday morning. She was tested again later in the day, not ready yet. On Saturday morning she was 53.92, but cytology says not quite ready yet. <GEEZ>

So surgery will most likely be tomorrow morning on August 13! This will make pups due on October 12, 2024, I believe. Waiting on pins and needles and saying a little prayer.
