Rescue A Dalmatian!

Dalmatians are such a beautiful and breath-taking graceful animal, it is no wonder that when everyone saw the movie "101 Dalmatians" they wanted one.  I, myself was first attracted to the Dalmatian because of their beauty.  Unfortunately, too often the cuteness wears off and these wonderful dogs are discarded like a toy that is no longer the rave.

Please make sure that you are ready for a life-long commitment when adding any pet to your household.  Make sure you are purchasing your new dog  from a reputable and responsible breeder. A breeder that ensures that your new dog is free from genetic defects or health issues, one who will  help you throughout the entire life of the dog, and one who requires that they will take the dog back if for any reason you can no longer keep it. A responsible breeder should require you to spay or neuter your new dog if it is not show quality or if you have no intention of showing in conformation. A responsible breeder is concerned about the dog as long as it may live.

Advantages to Rescue

Many dogs are euthanized every day, rescuing a dog saves a precious life.  Rescuing an older adult dog saves you of having to house break or train a puppy.
