Horatio is my special baby dog. What a character. Besides winning my heart, this brown boy is built like a brick house! He has a very typey, stylish outline, beautiful topline and all the right angles and all the right moves!

"Horatio" initially got his name early in the whelping box after intelligent redheaded and freckled Horatio Caine on CSI Miami, but after some research into the name, there are a few other famous "Horatio's". There is Horatio from Shakespeare's Hamlet. That Horatio is Hamlet's best friend and loyal and true confidant which also fits this guy. Then there is Horatio Alger who wrote stories of young boys who worked hard, "strive to succeed" the American Dream. We felt this was most fitting as Miss America is his mother and we sure have worked hard for the breed and are always striving for the best in our breeding program. Thus, his name, JLS Strive And Succeed.

Horatio takes WD 1 day and RWD two days at the Chickasha, OK cluster shows. Go sweet little Horatio! Horatio is now living with Carolyn Smith and is training to be an Obedience and Agility dog! We wish them the best and GO Horatio GO!
